The KBP is a special initiative designed to help increase the number of well-equipped Bible teachers among non-denominational Churches of Christ in Australia. The KBP comprises 6 intensive modules taught in Melbourne by experienced Bible faculty from Harding University, an accredited US Christian college affiliated with Churches of Christ.
Each module involves one week of face-to-face classes (6 days), together with pre-reading and assessments. The first module, "Old Testament Story & Vision (Genesis-Malachi)", was conducted in Melbourne from 28 July - 2 Aug 2014 (Monday-Saturday). Module #2, “New Testament Story & Vision (Matthew – Revelation)” ran from 9-14 March 2015. The third module on "Luke-Acts" was held from 17-22 Aug 2015 and the fourth module on "Church History" ran from 16-21 May 2016. The next module, "Hermeneutics", is scheduled for 2017.
For details of modules, schedule, fees and course credits, please refer to the accompanying KBP flyer. If you think you're suited for the KBP and wish to apply to participate in the KBP, please contact Alan Rowley (Rowley@klesis.com.au or 0419 264 931) to obtain a KBP Application Form.
